After attending several Delbrook events in the past - as well as hundreds of other craft fairs, farmers markets, and pop-up shows around the Lower Mainland - Caterina couldn't let Delbrook's "North Shore's staple craft fair" fall to the wayside after it's final year in 2013. Taking over the fair and putting her own flare and fun on the event seemed like a perfect fit, and she's returning for another year of bizarre bazaar-ness (see what we did there?!).
Caterina is the delicious genius behind Honeyboons (catering, jarring, and more!) in North Vancouver. Caterina learned the basics - and a few tricks! - from her mom and grandma, and today has a thriving and mouth-watering business you`re sure to love! Featuring as much local ingredients as she can, Caterina is always developing new and fun flavors of jams, jellies, salsas, relishes, chutneys and pickled items. Her baked goods are a huge hit every year, too; with many folks hunting her down from market to market, looking to stock up on her show favorites like Shortbread Cookies and Banana Nut Loaves.
Attending Delbrook for the first time in 2013 with his then-company CK-Made Creativity and loving the whole experience, Chris was a bit devastated when he heard Delbrook wouldn`t be happening again any time soon. So when Caterina approached him and asked him to join forces with her, how could he say no!
Now CK-Made Creativity has taken a bit of a back seat to the planning and organization of the yearly North Vancouver Holiday Bazaar, as well as his full time "mortgage paying career". You'll easily recognize him at each year's event with his trusty clipboard and handy bull-horn! Hopefully this year, he won't have to use said bull-horn to direct soccer traffic outside in the rain!
